Harry Styles shows off his latest addition to his extensive body art collection, and the One Direction singer now wears his heart on his sleeve -- quite literally.

The tattoo-addicted singer was spotted shopping in Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles on Monday. He sported a white T-shirt and black skinny jeans, completing his cool, laidback ensemble with sunglasses and a bandana.

Styles also unveiled his new anatomical heart tattoo on his left bicep. The graphic design, which features aorta and ventricles, accompanies another, much more simple heart ink on the same arm.

The "Best Song Ever" hitmaker flew into the U.S. just days before, following a successful night at this year's BRIT Awards, where the British band won two awards. He also has become very used to his life in the U.S., especially in Los Angeles, where he was seen enjoying multiple dates with Kendall Jenner.

Although he was under the bright yellow sun, the Midnight Memories singer seemed gloomy -- perhaps his failed romance with the Keeping Up with the Kardashians reality star might be able to explain his sad face.

It has been recently reported that the couple, who allegedly started dating back in November and confirmed their relationship during their publicized ski trip, called it quits on their long-distance dating relationship. "Kendall has been focusing on her modeling and Harry is preparing for work on the band's fourth album, as well as their stadium tour," a source said. "The reality is that with everything they both have going on, it's impossible to sustain anything serious."
