Dunkin Love Music Video: Donut Lover's Beyonce Parody Goes Viral [WATCH]
Do you crave for colorfully sprinkled donuts with some hot coffee patiently waiting inside a "Box O' Joe" first thing in the morning? One more question: do you agree that America runs on Dunkin'? If you do, you will certainly enjoy this video clip, titled "Dunkin Love," which pays a 'sweet' tribute to the nation's favorite breakfast stop.
Beyoncé's "Drunk in Love" featuring her rapper husband Jay-Z has been such a great hit since its release and recently got a remix treatment from Kanye West, who makes an explicit reference to his fiancée, Kim Kardashian. Now, a pair of Dunkin' Donuts aficionados hailing from San Francisco come up with their own hilarious rendition.
Reggie White and Adrian Anchondo have completely transformed the track, in which they act as the hip-hop power couple in their professional video. White is seen in a tight, form-fitting dress matched with a wig inspired by the "Partition" singer, while licking a donut seductively (or disturbingly) and rolling around on the beach. On the other hand, Anchondo mimics the Magna Carta Holy Grail rapper by throwing on Hov's signature thick gold chain and baseball cap.
"I get hungry when I see that billboard baby," the Beyoncé-impersonator opens up the visual. "I been thinking, I been thinking, why can't I have you on the West Coast baby, I want you. Open all night and everything alright, no complaints cos I heard Dunkin will soon be in my sights."
Furthermore, the lyrics "Cigars on ice, feeling like an animal with these cameras all in my grill, flashing lights" changes to "coffee on ice, feel like an addict when I smell it on the grill, donut bites."
"When the Beyoncé visual album came out, we did what any self-respecting gays would do - we had a viewing party," said Adrian Anchondo. "Reggie came over and we basically screamed, cried, fondled, laughed and threw shade for an hour or so. I thought, why not do a video parody? It fits with the song."
The creator also revealed via his Facebook page that "Dunkin Love" was made with "$100, a whole of good friends, commitment and a love of making people smile."
"Now all we want is the Queen herself to see the video," he added. "Maybe we will get a coupon or something."
