Detroit Pistons point guards Brandon Jennings and Steve Blake could be traded before the annual trading deadline in February, MLive reported.

According to the report, the Pistons are expected to make moves before the deadline, and trading point guards is the most likely option for Detroit in the 2015-16 NBA season.

The Pistons currently have four point guards on their roster -- Reggie Jackson, Spencer Dinwiddie, Jennings and Blake. Jennings is still recovering from an Achilles injury. And when he returns, the Pistons will likely trade one of their four point guards with Jennings and Blake as the most likely to be dealt as well as Dinwiddie.

"Trade possibilities are pinning the needle at point guard," MLive wrote. "It's difficult to imagine the Pistons not making a deal there. It might not happen until closer to the February trade deadline, but once Jennings returns, the Pistons could have three reserve point guards with trade value."

Despite sustaining a ruptured Achilles last season, teams could be interested in acquiring Jennings because of his team-friendly contract. The 25-year-old point guard will be playing in the final year of his contract that pays him $8.34 million in the upcoming season.

During the 2013-14 NBA season, which was his first in Detroit after spending four years in Milwaukee, Jennings averaged 15.5 points and career-high 7.6 assists per game. Before sustaining the season-ending injury earlier this year, the six-year veteran was averaging 15.4 points and 6.6 assists for the Pistons.

Jennings was also previously mentioned in numerous trade rumors after the Pistons acquired Reggie Jackson in a trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder last season. It is clear at this point that Jackson will be the long-term starting point guard for the Pistons after the 25-year-old signed a maximum five-year deal worth $80 million with Detroit.

Blake will also be an attractive asset for teams looking for veteran help. His contract will not hurt a team that much because he also has an expiring deal and is set to earn $2.17 million in the upcoming season.

The 12-year veteran played 81 games for the Portland Trail Blazers last season. He averaged 4.3 points to go along with 3.6 assists and 1.7 rebounds. But if the Pistons find a trade destination for Jennings, the report indicated that Blake will likely stay in Detroit for the rest of the 2015-16 NBA season.
