"WWE Monday Night Raw" will be live from Laredo, Texas, and the first live show after new champions were crowned at "Night of Champions."

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins retained his championship against Sting. Rollins was able to win with a quick roll-up pin as Sting attempted to execute his Scorpion Deathlock. Prior to his match with Sting, Rollins lost his United States Championship to John Cena, which made the latter a five-time champion. But after Rollins' match against Sting, Sheamus appeared to "cash in" his Money in the Bank briefcase. Kane, however, made his return and attacked Rollins.

For Monday night, Kane makes his return, and he will clarify his stance with, or against, Rollins. It's likely he and Rollins will compete at the next pay-per-view "Hell in a Cell."

Also at "Hell in a Cell," a new promo confirmed Brock Lesnar will face The Undertaker within the "Hell in a Cell" structure. It has not been confirmed if Lesnar or Undertaker will appear in Laredo, but never count out Paul Heyman in advocating the match.

After 301 days, Nikki Bella lost her Divas Championship at the hands of a Flair. Charlotte defeated Bella by submission at "Night of Champions." During Monday night, it will be a new chapter in the divas division as perhaps Paige sets her eyes on the title. Bella is expected to have a rematch at some point.

WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day retained their tag-team titles against The Dudley Boyz. Technically The Dudley Boyz won, by disqualification, but the champions automatically retained the titles. The feud, wildly expected to continue to the next pay-per-view, will likely have a tables match stipulation.

Kevin Owens became the new Intercontinental Champion by defeating Ryback. Owens is expected to gloat about his win, but Ryback will continue to challenge Owens for a rematch.

Chris Jericho made his return by teaming up with Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns against The Wyatt Family. Jericho lost at the hands of Wyatt member Braun Strowman. Ambrose and Reigns did not appear happy with Jericho, and it is unknown if Jericho will make another brief main-roster stint.

In other developments, will Cena restart the "U.S. Open Challenge?" Also, the Rusev, Summer Rae and Dolph Ziggler storyline might have ended, but will likely have an official ending tonight; on Sunday, Rusev seemed to have ignored Summer after costing him a loss against Ziggler.

"Monday Night Raw" airs weekly at 8 p.m. EDT on the USA Network.
