Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston may be returning to AMC.

A source close to AMC's highly anticipated Breaking Bad spinoff called Better Call Saul told E! News that the sidekick meth cook is currently in talks for a recurring role on the when the spinoff show debuts in November.

"Anything Vince is involved with, I'm there," Paul said. "I owe him my entire career. And the idea of jumping into the skin of Jesse Pinkman again in his lighter days -- because it's all a prequel -- it would be fun."

Casting is officially set to begin at the end of this month with production beginning in May. The creative team is very eager to have Aaron Paul play his title role for several episodes.

Even better news, perhaps, comes from the fact that Bryan Cranston was approached by the producers to make at least a cameo appearance or two, and he has already agreed to do it, saying that he is game.

"Both Bryan [Cranston] and I want to be a part of that, if they'll have us." Paul said.

Paul launched his career by playing meth manufacturer Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad, a show which won major academy awards.

The show's creator Vince Gilligan said earlier this year that he was hoping to convince some of Breaking Bad's regular cast to come back to do Better Call Saul.

"They're off making big movies and doing Broadway plays and whatnot, and that's exactly the way it should be," Gilligan said. "That is a high-class problem that we will have to contend with as we go forward with Better Call Saul, if we do indeed want to touch base with some of these characters."

The spinoff was originally conceived as a half-hour sitcom before the team settled on an hour-long format.

"There's obviously a danger inherent in doing a spinoff, but I just love the character of Saul Goodman so much, and part of me doesn't want to say no to this world," Gilligan said.
