Singer Selena Gomez surprised fans on Sept. 22 by releasing the new music video for her second single "Same Old Love," off of her upcoming album "Revival."

According to People, Gomez released the new video exclusively on Apple Music and made the announcement on her social media accounts.

Last week in Los Angeles, the 23-year-old singer held a private event for 800 lucky fans, who were surprised to find out that they would become a part of the "Same Old Love" video, reported Time.

"This is a new chapter for me," Gomez told her fans. "I'm sure most of you know that. You guys have been the most consistent thing in my life and my career. This is all for you."

The singer, who is working on showing off a more mature side, recently spoke to Today about her latest film "Hotel Transylvania 2," where she voices Mavis, the daughter of Dracula, voiced by Adam Sandler.

The Latina also dished about her relationship with her mother. Gomez explained that she wants to be just as creative and vocal with her own children someday as her mother was with her. She also explained that her mother's guidance has helped her navigate the limelight.

With a new album, several magazine covers, 33 million followers on Instagram and 44.5 million followers on Twitter, Gomez's every move is constantly being watched and judged.

"Most of the time, I don't pay attention and I just let it go. But when it starts defining my character, I don't want people to look at me any differently because I know how hard I work," she said. "And if I become anything other than who I am, you'd know about it. US Weekly or anybody else is not going to tell you!"
