Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner Reconcile? Ex-Couple Goes On Dinner Date Without Kids
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner stepped out for a dinner date without their three children on Sunday. The ex-couple were photographed smiling as they joined family members for a get-together.
According to Entertainment Online, Ben and Jennifer joined a three-hour dinner with family and relatives at Nobu in Malibu, California. The ex-couple reportedly drove to the restaurant together around 9:00 p.m. A photo shared by the site shows Ben, dressed in a white polo shirt and jeans, waiting in line with Jennifer, who was dressed casually in an all-black ensemble of sleeveless top and slacks.
An eyewitness said the ex-couple stayed for dinner for three hours and also left the restaurant together. Fans may see this as an opportunity for reconciliation between Affleck and Garner. However, the source said there was no PDA involved, although Ben and Jen looked like they got along fine together, with Affleck seen opening the door for his ex-wife.
The couple has maintained a united front for their children following their divorce on June 30. They have been spotted hanging out with their kids on several occasions. Earlier in the day, they were at a farmer's market with their children, Samuel, 3, Violet, 9 and Seraphina, 6.
A photo shared by Hello Magazine shows Jen and Ben smiling at something inside the back of their car. Another photo posted by Daily Mail shows the ex-couple looking like they are having a heated conversation within their child's earshot. They were joined by their new nanny, who held on to their daughter as she walked ahead of the couple.
Jennifer was also photographed on Tuesday morning grabbing coffee with a female pal. She was seen wearing her wedding ring on her middle finger.
The pair recently sparked rumors of reconciliation after they were spotted looking all happy after a trip to their marriage counselor. However, a source told Radar Online that Jen and Ben will never get back together and that their visit to the counselor for a 2-hour session only proved this.
"There is no chance Jen and Ben will get back together and she finally feels that she deserves to be happy without him. Jennifer knew there were issues on the table that needed to be discussed with their marriage counselor. Ben had no problem with going. He knew it was important after all of the issues that came up while they were in Atlanta," the source said.
