Who would have ever imagined a connection between Flappy Bird and Grand Theft Auto?

Besides the fact that these two are video games, there are basically no similarities between the two. The games have completely different objectives and one game is significantly more complex than the other.

But low and behold, somebody found a way to put Flappy Bird in GTA. To make things even more interesting, Flappy Bird was reportedly added into both the older GTA 4 game as well as the newest version of the game, GTA 5.

As Grand Theft Auto enthusiasts know, it is not surprising to use a cell phone in the game. This was a perfect opportunity for Flappy Bird and a developer quickly figured this out. Just as you might imagine, they made it so gamers can play Flappy Bird via the cell phone in the game.

In the GTA 5 version, you have to dial a certain number on the in-game phone and call 1-800-BIRD. You will then notice that Flappy Bird can be played.

In the GTA 4 version, it is a bit more different and complex than GTA 5 and it does not seem that you can actually play Flappy Bird. Rather, gamers can choose from three different game modes, all of which feature different ways to score in relation to Flappy Bird. For the most part, you have drive and hit certain things and not others. This is similar to the objective in Flappy Bird where you have to avoid hitting the pipes.

"The initial idea was make possible player 'flap' around the city avoiding collisions, then I implemented the idea of use pedestrians to obtain points, the idea is 'flap' and try to hit pedestrians, if you hit anything else you fall," the mod's creator said.
