Katy Perry Tour Update, John Mayer Relationship News: Perry to Perform in Brazil, Celebrity Couple Could Be Back Together
Katy Perry will perform Friday night in São Paulo for the Latin American leg of her "Prismatic World Tour."
The "Firework" singer made her first Latin American stop in Peru on Tuesday and will be hitting other countries such as Paraguay, Chile, Colombia and more.
Perry posted an Instagram photo of her performance in Peru on Thursday. "It's just like riding a bike LIMA 9.22.15," she captioned the post.
Meanwhile, rumors are circulating that Perry is back together with her on-again, off-again ex John Mayer, after the couple were spotted at actress Allison Williams' wedding together. The musicians arrived in Wyoming for the event on separate private jets.
"John and Katy looked happy," a source told People. "They held hands and sat next to each other during the wedding ceremony."
The "California Gurls" singer ran into some trouble after a concert in early September. After a fan's ex-boyfriend bashed Perry's live performance skills via a text, Perry told the girl to never text the ex again. Perry then sent a selfie to the girl's ex using her phone.
The selfie resurfaced after the concert, along with an accusation that Perry cursed out the girl's ex.
"I NEVER wrote those words, that is an EDITED picture or the person added it after I took it. I would NEVER use the C word," Perry tweeted at the time. Since then, she has received an apology from the person who put out the prank messages.
Perry may not be taking her own advice. If the "Dark Horse" singer never texts her ex-boyfriend, how do they keep ending up back together?
The couple split back in February 2014, but then stepped out on a double date with Williams and her then fiancé Ricky Van Veen in January, sparking rumors of a rekindled romance.
"They are so in love," a source close to Perry said at the time. "They missed each other."
