It seems that John Mayer is not at all concerned about his split from Katy Perry last week, as he was seen cuddling with a mystery woman at this year's pre-Oscars party at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood on Saturday.

The "Your Body Is A Wonderland" singer showed up to the star-studded event, sporting a blue blazer and a white top. He completed his casual, laidback ensemble with multiple chains hanging around his neck.

Mayer then was spotted with a woman in question, as the duo took time to pose for a picture together. However, the singer looked like he was not really into the mystery brunette -- he stared straight ahead, while the woman attempted to cuddle up close to him.

Of course, there was no sign of the "Dark Horse" singer, who ended her nearly two-year long relationship with John Mayer after finding "text messages on his phone from some random girl." The latest claim disagrees with the previous reports that the singer couple's split was "mutual and extremely amicable," and that they were even planning to stay as friends after their break up.

In addition, Mayer recently celebrated his single life, attending a show by renowned piano Chick Corea at the Blue Note Jazz Club in Greenwich Village right after the break up. He shared a video of the night via Twitter with a caption following, "Helluva Night." He stayed at the venue until the next morning, with the people at the club claiming he looked "worry-free."
