Brock Lesnar will face The Undertaker inside Hell in a Cell in the event of the same name to end one of the entertaining feuds in the history of the WWE. The third and final match will supposedly take place as one of the main events in next year's WrestleMania 32 in Dallas, as reported by Wrestling Inc.

According to the news outlet, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Radio said that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon changed his mind in the last minute to have the match take place in Hell in a Cell. A separate Wrestling Inc. post also speculated that Vince probably wanted to boost WWE Network subscriptions as the period would end on Sept. 30.

It was also said that the 70-year-old wrestling promoter felt that the time was right to end the feud, and each character should move on to new storylines, possibly in time for WrestleMania.  Another possible reason was the declining ratings for the WWE due to the start of NFL season, as per Inquisitr.

What Culture also speculated that the low subscriptions to WWE Network and the struggling ratings against the NFL could be the main reasons why the feud would end at Hell in a Cell. The report also said that because the event would be held at Staples Center in Los Angeles, Brock Lesnar making an appearance would definitely attract mainstream media.  

"The Beast" first won at WrestleMania 30 last year, ending The Undertaker's undefeated streak at the event while "The Deadman" put Lesnar to sleep at this year's SummerSlam. Even though WWE built Hell in a Cell as their third and final match, both men had fought against each other a few times in the past.

When Brock won the WWE Undisputed Title against The Rock in SummerSlam 2002, he went on to feud with The Undertaker, who was still on his "American Bad Ass/Big Evil" gimmick for the championship. Their first singles match against each other was on September 2002 in Unforgiven, which ended in a double disqualification that culminated inside Hell in a Cell at the No Mercy pay-per-view the next month.

Lesnar defeated The Undertaker, retaining his title and cementing his legacy as "The Next Big Thing" back then. The two crossed paths again at the 2003 Royal Rumble with Brock last eliminating "The Deadman" to win the event.

As for their WrestleMania 32 opponents, a previous Latin Post report says that Brock is rumoured to have four possible opponents namely Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin. Meanwhile, according to Cage Side Seats, The Undertaker's potential feuds will be against Rollins, John Cena and newcomer Braun Strowman.
