'X Factor 2015 UK' Judges Admit Mistake, Recall Holly Johnson
As "The X Factor" nears the Bootcamp finale, things get tougher and harder for both the contestants and the panel of judges.
Tears gushed through "The X Factor" contender Holly Johnson as she was given a second chance after the panel of judges mistakenly sent her home despite her ground-breaking performance last Sunday.
Prior to judgement, Daily Mail describes Holly to be donning a leather-look skirt and pretty Bardot-necked blouse as she gave a soulful rendition of Sam Smith's "Like I Can." The judges, however, have initially found the brunette's performance as undeserving to be part of the Six Chair Challenge.
Rita loved Holly's rendition and said, "Her voice guys, I really love it. Honestly, for real, can we not be unfair about this?" But Simon opposed to Rita's comment, saying that Holly lacks personality on stage. Cheryl agreed to Simon's remark and told that Holly is a bit shy.
Huffington Post reports that after the judging, Rita had a small talk with the two other judges, saying that they might have made a huge mistake in sending the brunette home, along with other contenders. Nick was seen nowhere during the judging moment as he had commitments, the report adds.
With a broken heart, Holly left the room of doom and was eventually called back by the judges.
"Holly I just felt we owed you an explanation, because I could see on your face thinking, 'how could I have done anymore?" said Simon as reported by Huffington Post. "I want to own up to the fact that I think we made a mistake."
"It's a yes!" Rita said in a delight, instantly uplifting the contender's emotions. "We're sorry."
