NFL Schedule & Predictions 2015: 5 Teams Who Must Win Week 4 Games
This season is flying by. We're already almost a quarter of the way through the season, and it's been as exciting as one could imagine.
Here are five teams who must win their Week 4 games.
1. Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys lost their first game of the season last week against the Atlanta Falcons. However, there's good news for Jerry Jones' team; they won't be playing against Julio Jones on Sunday. The Brandon Weeden-led Cowboys will take on the New Orleans Saints, who also have a backup quarterback at the moment. The Saints defense is a mess, they have no running game, and they are 0-3 for a reason. The game will be in New Orleans, which is a great thing for the Cowboys. The Cowboys have won 10 consecutive road games, the longest active streak in the league. Losing this game would be terrible because it opens the door for the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants in the NFC East.
The Cowboys will play the Saints on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 8:30 p.m. EDT.
2. Baltimore Ravens
Can the 0-3 Baltimore Ravens make the biggest turnaround in franchise history? We'll find out soon enough. After their loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, the Raves are now 0-3 for the first time in franchise history. They will have their chance to get back in this thing on Thursday Night Football against their arch rival, Pittsburgh Steelers. Fortunately for the Ravens, they won't be facing Ben Roethlisberger in that game because of a leg injury he suffered against the St. Louis Rams. The last time the Ravens were in Pittsburgh, they beat the Steelers in the playoffs. If the Ravens lose this game, their season is officially over.
The Ravens will play the Steelers on Thursday, Oct. 1 at 8:25 p.m. EDT.
3. Indianapolis Colts
Just like last season, Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts began this year 0-2. Panic time or just another 11-5 Colts season? The Colts beat the Tennessee Titans last week, and now they will face the Jacksonville Jaguars at home. The Colts struggle playing teams outside the division, but they are the most dominate team in the league when it comes to divisional play. The Colts have won their last 13 consecutive games against AFC South opponents. You can't fall to 1-3 and expect to get a top two seed with a bye week in the AFC.
The Colts will play the Jaguars on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 1 p.m. EDT.
4. Miami Dolphins
What is going on in south beach? The Miami Dolphins were absolutely embarrassed in Week 3 by the Buffalo Bills on their own home turf, 41-14. Now 1-2, Joe Philbin's team is in such deep water that not even a Dolphin may be able to get out of. This AFC East division is no joke either. There's even rumors that Ndamukong Suh is ignoring the play calls sent in from the sidelines. What's done is done. The Dolphins travel to London where they will face the New York Jets in a must win game this weekend. The Dolphins don't play another game in Miami until Oct. 25 when they play the Houston Texans.
The Dolphins will play the Jets on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 9:30 a.m. EDT.
5. San Diego Chargers
The San Diego Chargers won their opening game against the Detroit Lions, but have dropped two in a row against the Minnesota Vikings and Bengals. It's tough enough playing in the AFC West competing against Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos as it is. Philip Rivers and the Chargers have to beat the Cleveland Browns and get back to .500 this weekend. If the Chargers lose this game at home against Josh McCown, their only slim hope will be a wild card spot. The Chargers have to make some trades before the deadline to improve their defense.
The Chargers will play the Browns on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 4:05 p.m. EDT.
