The main event of "Fear The Walking Dead" is about to go down in the next episode, which will be the Season 1 finale of the popular companion show on AMC.

Episode 6 is titled "The Good Man" and will air on cable network AMC next Sunday, Oct. 4 at 9 p.m. EDT, according to TV Guide.

There are many things that fans learned from the last episode of the show, but it pales in comparison to what is about to happen in the season finale. Although the major details of the show are vague, there are some descriptions that viewers of the penultimate episode can make logical conclusions about.

According to Spoilers Guide, the season finale is expected to finally bring the companion show into the reality of its predecessor, "The Walking Dead." There has been a naïve personality present on the show that the infected are still in some way living, breathing people. But the characters of the show finally start to see the reality of the situation.

The zombie threat is not exactly the main event, given the details of what Operation Cobalt really is. Civil unrest in the finale episode finally gives the zombies, or the "infected" as the characters like to call them, the upper hand. Chaos among the living ushers in a pathway for the zombie takeover.

Now that LA's last strongholds and safety zones are about to be compromised, there is nowhere to run inside the city, so leaving is the only real viable option.

Fans will get to see the tough decisions that will finally be made by Madison and company when they start exploring new ways to protect their family, which could mean killing the living, if necessary.

The season finale will no doubt change the way fans look at the universe and its beginnings. That moment in time when the survivors finally realize what they are up against and whether or not they want to live in a world like that. Watch a preview for it below.
