Nobody wants to go out like Kim Zolciak-Biermann did in the last episode of "Dancing with the Stars." The reality star was dealt with a forced elimination after suffering a mini-stroke and missing her weekly performance this week.

According to host Tom Bergeron during the telecast, the move was done in accordance to show rules, which state that missing a performance due to health concerns would lead to a forced exit for the contestant.

"Dancing with the Stars" alum and guest judge Alfonso Ribeiro agreed with the show's decision when he talked to Entertainment Tonight after the show.

"I think the show handled it right," Ribeiro said. "I think they handled it right because it could have been Kim going home tonight. And would it have been fair for her not to dance, and still come back next week, and have someone else go home? That wouldn't have been fair."

He explained, "So we don't know what the outcome was, but the rules say, you can't go the next week if you don't perform. It truly is unfortunate that she wasn't able to make it here to perform."

Ribeiro found himself in a similar situation during his own "Dancing with the Stars" stint after injuring his back while rehearsing. Despite the injury, the actor was able to hit the dance floor for his semi-finals performance, ultimately winning the Mirror Ball trophy in season 19.

Zolciak-Biermann was unable to make it to the studio for the previous episode and her pro partner Tony Dovolani faced the "heart-wrenching" news by himself.

"The rules can't be broken, and obviously, because she's not physically here, if she's able or not, we get bowed out," Dovolani told Entertainment Tonight.

The pro is still hoping it's not the end of their journey this season, saying, "I'm hoping the audience tweets or Instagrams and says, 'We want them back,' and maybe that will persuade them. She did suffer a stroke. This is where you've got to put things in perspective."

Reality star Zolciak-Biermann was on the same page as her partner, taking to Twitter to campaign for a comeback on the hit reality competition, according to People. 

The 37-year-old television personality retweeted fans calling for her return and even tagged one of her tweets with the hashtag "#BringKimandTonyBack."

Although Zolciak-Biermann did not indicate any bad blood between herself and the show, a previous report from TMZ revealed that the contestant wasn't warned of her impending exit beforehand and was "totally caught off guard" during the Skype session on air.
