The WWE rumor mill last week included a potential comeback to the ring by Stone Cold Steve Austin against Brock Lesnar, per a previos Latin Post report. The "Texas Rattlesnake" commented on the rumors in the most Austin-way possible. Also, other rumors include NXT on RAW, WWE security getting more serious and a possible Night of Champions match card.

Steve Austin On WrestleMania 32 Rumors

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter via Cage Side Seats reported that WWE was considering putting Brock Lesnar against Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, The Rock or Steve Austin at next year's WrestleMania event. Austin quickly dismissed the rumors on Twitter, saying, "You can take my name off the rumor mill as a Brock Lesnar opponent at WM32. Bullshit reporting."

NXT on RAW

Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer, per Wrestling Inc., reported that there was a proposal last year for an hour of Monday Night RAW for NXT. The idea was quickly denied, but there was no indication on the report on whose idea was it or who rejected it.

There is one serious issue backstage about the power struggle between the big bosses, which include Vince McMahon, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and Kevin Dunn. The weekly Monday show for the WWE is currently facing big problems in TV ratings as well as writing good stories that are well-received by fans.

WWE Security Issues

There were a lot of unnecessary fan run-ins in the WWE in the recent months. It started with Roman Reigns being attacked by a fan with the Money in the Bank briefcase in Canada, as reported by Wrestlezone. Also, a fan almost stabbed Dean Ambrose via TMZ Sports while another walked with Seth Rollins during his entrance on RAW,  as per Bleacher Report.

Most recently, a fan jumped into the ring at Night of Champions before the Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose vs. The Wyatt Family match. Some fans who attended the house and live shows told Cage Side Seats that there were more guards present at the ringside.

Hell in a Cell Rumored Match Card

As of now, the Hell in a Cell event only has one match, The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar III. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, via Wrestling Inc., revealed the current plans for the event. The following are the rumored matches that are subject to change:

  • The New Day (c) versus The Dudley Boyz in a Tables Match for the WWE Tag Team Titles
  • Charlotte (c) versus Nikki Bella versus Paige for the WWE Divas Title
  • Seth Rollins (c) versus "Demon" Kane for the WWE Title
  • Kevin Owens (c) versus Ryback for the Intercontinental Title
  • The Wyatt Family versus Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Randy Orton
