World Boxing Council Silver welterweight titlist Amir Khan is eyeing a rematch with former World Boxing Association champ Danny Garcia to avenge the fourth round knockout loss he suffered when they met in July 2012 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

"I'd like to fight Danny Garcia and settle the score properly. I'd like that fight as well and in the next two or three weeks we should know exactly who I'm going to be against," Khan said to Sky Sports.

This is the Bolton-born fighter's response to Garcia, who recently told Daily Mail that he is ready whenever Khan is ready to face him for a rematch.

"I came to this [welterweight] division to fight the best and if that's what they want we can make it happen. We can do the rematch whenever he [Khan] wants but it's always going to be in the back of his head though, when he left these badboys," Garcia said while showing his fists.

If the two camps agree for an immediate fight, they can actually stage the Khan vs. Garcia 2 match before the year ends, especially because both boxers are more than willing to get into a battle in November or December. Thus, their schedules fit well their intention of seeing each other again in the opposite corners of the boxing ring.

Top Contender for Manny Pacquiao

Aside from a fight against Garcia, the British boxer may have an exciting showdown against the Filipino icon, Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao. The eight-division world champion's promoter, Top Rank CEO Bob Arum, already intended for a Pacquiao-Khan fight, The Telegraph announced. The Philippine Star noted that Khan is a strong contender to face Pacquiao, who is recovering from a shoulder injury, early next year, citing Arum.

"Pacman's" coach, Freddie Roach, who also served as "King Khan's" trainer before he left the Wild Card Gym in 2012, likes the Philippine pride's arch enemy, Juan Manuel "Dinamita" Marquez for his fighter, Boxing Scene informed. However, Arum and the 36-year-old boxer's adviser Michael Koncz prefer Khan the most, followed by International Boxing Federation champ Kell Brook, a separate article from Boxing Scene reported.

Khan is excited to get in the ring with Pacquiao as he believes it will draw a massive audience, News Day noted. Moreover, he feels winning against the veteran fighter will catch the undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s attention and lure "The Money," who won against "Pacman" on May 2 at the MGM Grand, out of retirement, noted Sky Sports.

Khan will have very busy days of training ahead if everything falls into place.
