WWE SmackDown Spoilers, Results Oct 1, 2015: Seth Rollins, New Day vs Dudley Boyz, Kane in Main Event
"WWE SmackDown" was live from Albany, New York, where a new match was confirmed for the next pay-per-view special "Hell in a Cell."
The show started with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins in the ring, and he called for Kane to also make his way to the ring. Kane entered with crutches. It was announced Rollins and WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day will team up against The Dudley Boyz and "demon" Kane, but with "corporate" Kane at ringside.
Another six-man tag-team match was set among the divas, with Team BAD against Team Bella. It was another tag-team match for the "Divas Revolution." Luckily, it was Sasha Banks, Naomi and Tamina securing the win against Alicia Fox, Brie and Nikki Bella.
Former Intercontinental Champion Ryback fought against current Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens. The match, however, ended via count-out.
In yet another six-man tag-team match, it was Neville and The Lucha Dragons vs. Stardust and The Ascension because the fans have not seen enough variations of these six fighters competing against each other. Unlike "Night of Champions," when Stardust and The Ascension won, "SmackDown" saw Neville and The Lucha Dragons get the win.
It was promo time for The Wyatt Family. Bray Wyatt cut a promo against Roman Reigns. Then Reigns appeared, and it was announced he and Wyatt will fight at "Hell in a Cell" inside the eponymous structure.
It was time for the main event. Kane, in corporate gear, appeared with his crutches to sit at ringside. Meanwhile, Rollins and The New Day began the match against The Dudley Boyz and "demon" Kane. It basically started as a 3-on-2 match. While performing a dive, Rollins landed on Kane. To sell the injury, Kane was helped to the back.
Suddenly, the pyro hit, and "demon" Kane appeared. After he attacked Rollins, The Dudleys secured the win. Rollins escaped, but Kane continued to fight, along with the Dudleys and New Day.
The show ended with Kane holding the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Several WWE superstars did not appear on the show, but were utilized for the "WWE Main Event," including Dean Ambrose, King Barrett, Cesaro and Rusev.
