'Entourage' Movie Release Date, Cast & News Update: Production Crew Dies on Film Set
It was a sad day on the set of the "Entourage" movie, as TMZ learned that that a crew member's dog was been hit by a car and died.
Insiders revealed that the dog named Tucker, a year-old Australian Shepard, got away from a production trailer and headed onto the busy Wilshire Boulevard near downtown Los Angeles where he was hit.
While Tucker was quickly brought to a nearby veterinarian, the accident proved to be too much for the little guy and he later passed away from injuries.
Fortunately, Tucker was surrounded by familiar faces at the time of his death.
Production has already begun for the movie-adaptation of the HBO TV series "Entourage" last Feb 19. The crew is filming in Los Angeles and will be filming in various locations around the city including Hollywood and the WB Studio over 35 days, reports the LA Times.
Bulk of the filming will be done locally, in Los Angeles, but the crew will also film on location in Miami.
The plot of the big-screen adapation has been kept under wraps but Warner Bros. has said: "Some of their ambitions have changed, but the bond between them remains strong as they navigate the capricious and often-cutthroat world of Hollywood."
The film is written and directed by series creator Doug Ellin and features big-ticket stars including Kevin Connolly, Adrian Grenier, Kevin Dillon, Jerry Ferrara and Jeremy Piven who have been cast in their original roles. In addition. Billy Bob Thornton, Haley Joel Osment and Travis McCredle will also be part of the film. In addition, Kid Cudi has also been reported to have joined the cast and will serve as the assistant to film executive Ari Gold (Piven).
The film is produced by Mark Wahlberg, Stephen Levinson and Doug Ellin while, Wayne Carmona serves as the movie's executive producer.
Fans will have to wait until the studio release of the "Entourage" movie on June 12, 2015.
