In "Sister Wives" Season 6 Episode 7 on Sunday, titled "Just Trying to Stay Afloat," Kody Brown and his four wives head to Las Vegas to compete in the annual pirate festival.

At the festival, Janelle Brown's family will build one cardboard boat, and Christine Brown and Robyn Brown's families will build another. The fun starts when the eye-patch wearing pirate fanatics begin to race against other, including the Brown families.

The fun won't be without drama, though, as Christine and Kody continue to quarrel even after their couple's therapy in Galveston, Texas. Despite learning new communications skills there, the couple bicker, and newest wife Robyn gets involved. 

If you missed last week's episode, Christine and Kody celebrated their 21st anniversary by traveling to Texas to visit their friend Pat, who was their former therapist, and they introduced her to their current counselor, Nancy.

Kody agreed to Nancy coming along for the trip, but he wasn't thrilled.

"Going on vacation with Family marriage counselor sounds so fun! Yippie! (sarcasm) #SisterWives," he tweeted on Sept. 27.

Once the therapy began, Christine revealed that she and Kody weren't as intimate as she'd like. There were also communication problems. Nancy challenged the couple to build a cairn, a stack of stones, which would highlight any problems in communication between them. The exercise would represent their partnership.

Christine wanted to create a cairn that honored their romance, while Kody wanted to build a stone structure that symbolized their family as a whole.

"It was very heartbreaking and frustrating," Christine said, after Kody refused to help build her cairn.

The good news is, by the end of the therapy, the couple was able to understand each other's point of view. Kody seemed to finally understand that Christine needed more one-on-one time. Christine realized that Kody felt it was best to include the entire family in most trips and activities.

"Since Galveston @realkodybrown is getting better with validation and understanding pain. We both learned a lot. #SisterWives," Christine tweeted on Sept. 27. 

Despite the progress, Christine was uncertain if they'd be able to "hold on to that magical time together" and practice what they learned once home.
