Samsung Galaxy S7 Specs & Features: Next-Gen Flagship for US & China To Feature Snapdragon 820 Chipset
It's fast paced and it's coming very soon. Samsung's Galaxy S7 is now the latest rumored flagship phone that has surfaced online.
According to Phone Arena, the news was first heard when China released some information about it on Friday. Samsung just recently introduced their Galaxy S6 and S6 Plus, but could it be true that their next flagship phone, the Galaxy S7, already leaked out?
As revealed by Sam Mobile, the alleged Galaxy S7 was codenamed "Project Lucky" during its developmental stage. Apparently, the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be available in two variants. One will be equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 processor while the other with Samsung's Exynos SoC. It is also equipped with a 20-megapixel primary camera.
It is also revealed by International Business Times that Samsung's Galaxy S7 rumored release date is set in February 2016. G for Games reports that the device will carry 5.2-inch and 5.8-inch variants. It will also feature 3GB or 4GB of RAM and will be integrated with an Adreno 530 CPU. The Galaxy S7 will also feature battery saving add-ons to balance its thermal reaction, especially during a prolonged period of usage. Meanwhile, according to G for Games, Samsung is also rumored to integrate the dual cameras on the Galaxy S7, despite HTC's failed impression on the said project.
According to the Phone Arena, the Galaxy S7 is specially designed for its market in the U.S. and China. To address its rather tangible thermal issues, the device will be built with the Snapdragon 820 that is known to deliver less heat and consumes average energy balance for the whole device. Along with this is a 3GHz per core to accomplish a speedy device. For handsets will be made available with 32 and 64 GB internal memory.
The new Samsung Galaxy S7 is also rumored to come out with two versions up its line but will both carry the microSD slot as well as a metal unibody frame. Samsung has just finished rounding up its Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Plus, and this may seem too early to reveal such successor. At the moment, Samsung has not given an official statement on the rumored Galaxy S7 device. Until then, the rumors circulating online can provide some information on what's coming up next in their Galaxy line.
