Nicole Scherzinger made an appearance on the daytime talk show "The Wendy Williams Show" on Wednesday, in which the host bluntly criticized her guest.

Host Wendy Williams rudely censured the former Pussycat Doll during the interview, after bringing up the sore subject of Scherzinger's ex-boyfriend Lewis Hamilton, according to E! Online. She also highlighted the singer's advancing age, giving her less chance of being able to have children.

"The last time I was talking about you in Hot Topics, I was talking about the seven-year relationship that you had with that racecar driver, Lewis Hamilton, ending," Williams said. "And I was saying -- truth! -- because you're 37, and I was like, 'This is a woman who spent seven years of her life breaking up and getting back together.' Poor us! They can have babies whenever they want. You know what I mean? Those are seven years you can never get back."

Williams also rubbed in how well off financially Scherzinger would have been had the couple stayed together.

"And he was really wealthy! And I was rooting for you, girl! So, I'm sorry to hear about that," Williams added.

Scherzinger restrained herself and did not become offended, instead shrugging off Williams' comments directed at her personal life and choices.

"It's all right," Scherzinger said. "It's funny. My girlfriends are always like, 'Honey, it's your pretty years now. Come on. Get it together.'"

Williams proceeded to ask Scherzinger if she's dating anyone now, and the "Boomerang" singer shook her head.

"I am rubbish at dating," the singer said. "You know, everything happens for a reason. I'm a girl of faith and a strong believer, and seven years was a long time."

The talk show host responded, "And the good years down here," while pointing toward her crotch.

The singer was also asked if she keeps in touch with the girls from her former group, The Pussycat Dolls. Scherzinger said that, when all the girls were in the group, they hardly got any sleep and were always getting on each other's nerves. However, she explained that they now have better relationships, since they're older and more mature.

Scherzinger released her second studio album, "Big Fat Lie," in October 2014.
