The Engine of America Small Business Summit, to be held on Oct. 8 in Los Angeles, will be hosted by The Latino Coalition and the Los Angeles Latino Chamber of Commerce, helping small businesses to enable profit and fuel the economy.

The Latino Coalition, which is one of the largest advocacy and membership organizations for Latino-owned small businesses, will hold the one-day summit at the City Club Los Angeles. The event will offer forward-thinking entrepreneurs access to networking opportunities, high-impact panels, incredible speakers and an interactive environment to advance their businesses.

More than 20 panelists, speakers and executives will appear to discuss legal reform, healthcare, technology, immigration, regulations and telecom. Tips, tools and strategies will be dispensed and shared to boost productivity, accelerate business growth and create opportunities.

Hong Kong-born Dominic Ng, Chairman and CEO of East West Bank, will be the keynote speaker at the event. Ng will share valuable insight with the Latino business owners, educating them on how he was able to transform California-based East West Bank from a small outfit to a full-service international and commercial bank that has $30.1 billion in assets. He'll discuss consistency in business, leadership and his bank's engagement with the Hispanic business community.
