"Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe has offered his Big Apple condo on the rental market.

Radcliffe, who rose to fame when picked as the lead in the movie franchise based on the popular J.K. Rowling book series, is renting out his New York Condo for $19,000 a month, according to Zillow. The 26-year-old actor sought the services of real estate agents Chris Pomeroy and Jane Greenberg of Halstead Property to handle the rental listing. The "December Boys" star bought the loft-style unit in a "trendy glass-walled building designed by Jean Nouvel" for $4.3 million dollars in November 2007, The New York Times informed in 2008.

However, the actor was already ready to move into another apartment, a 2,450-square-foot three-bedroom abode worth $4.9 million, he bought within the city,too, in early 2008, that's why he decided to lease the other one. Variety noted that the rental property was already advertised for lease for $20,000, just a week after it was purchased by the young British actor. The real estate blog noted that it was rented for as low as $17,500 a month, and, in 2010, its monthly fee slightly jumped again to $18,000.

The rental home, which is less expensive, is reportedly smaller than the three-bedroom residence of Radcliffe. It covers only 1,843 square feet of living space and features two bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. Other living spaces include a light-filled living room, a guest room which may doble as a library, a trendy kitchen and a dining area.

The tenants will most probably enjoy the airy and comfortable master suite that comes with a spacious walk-in closet as well as wide and tall windows. The suite also has a marble-accented bathroom with double sink vanity, a huge bathtub and a separate shower.

Ready for any role

The "Horns" actor is prepared to take on any role that will interest him, whether the savior wizard Harry Potter or the troubled lead of the 1970s "psychosexual drama" revival, "Equus."

He also starred in the romantic comedy, "What If?" reported Express.

"It certainly doesn't factor in my thought process when I'm picking a role. You're not thinking, 'I want to do a romantic comedy, so only show me romcoms from now on.' You're just looking for a good script and when 'What If?' came along, I'd already read a few romcoms and it just stood out to me. I wanted to be part of it," Radcliffe said.
