With news of the recent split of John Mayer and Katy Perry on everyone's mind, Katy Perry has taken to Twitter to make some of her thoughts known.

While there has been no official word on whether on whether the couple is still together, Perry, has made it known that John Mayer isn't her only significant other. During an interview in an Australian morning talk show Sunrise TV, the 29-year-old California Girls singer cleverly deflected commenting on her relationship status, reports Rumor Fix.

"All of my fans are my boyfriend," she declared and pointed to a nearby koala bear and said: "this is my boyfriend!"

Rumors on the couple hit a few days earlier with reports that John Mayer has been unfaithful to the Dark Horse singer. According to Perezhilton, John has been inappropriately holding relations with one spin instructor named Lauren McHale, 24, while Katy and John were still together.

"They kissed. It was very innocent. They didn't sleep together," reveals an insider.

US Magazine has reported that Perry and Mayer have parted on good terms after being together for almost two years. An insider to Us, it was a mutual decision and both "made the mature decision that it was the right time."

"She's stressed about the tour, they've been fighting. It is probably for the best, because she is going to be on tour for forever," commented another source. "Of course this happens all the time, I can't keep track anymore. But for now they are done."
