Kotaku recently revealed their experience playing the "StarWars: Battlefront" beta and said that they spent at least two hours of pure impressive gaming.

A player who is not naturally bound to like the StarWars game felt the hype after playing the beta version on PlayStation 4. While they subtly mentioned the game's visuals, its overall quality is what really captured their attention. Other features that really made them like the "StarWars: Battlefront" beta is the fact that everything else were done in minimal and not overly exaggerated ancillaries such as weapons and war gears.

Kotaku also mention the fact that you don't have to reload your gun for the whole duration, but you actually need to cool it off before setting ahead. The gun tempo went "shoot, let your gun cool off for a few seconds, shoot, cool off."

Survival missions were equally challenging as well, with each wave of enemies that arrive. The beta version however only lets you play until the sixth level. An enemy in a jetpack when conquered gives an interesting and winning feeling after it spirals down to the ground.

Destructoid, on the other hand, feels the opposite. Although they were not totally disappointed about the "StarWars: Battlefront" beta version, they were definitely less impressed with the outcome.

The absence of micro-transactions made it even less appealing as you have to work your way through challenges just to earn credits to unlock a specific item. Although there was a total of four survival modes, which include Hoth, Sullust, Endor and Tatooine, the last one was the only playable mode on the beta version of the game. Not being able to play the hero was also an issue as the beta version puts you in the position of a "grunt.:

The Play Station Blog reveals everything you need to know about "StarWars: Battlefront" including the size of the download, which is approximately 7MB.

The beta version will end on Oct. 12 whereas the time will depend on what region you're in. There are three modes that you can play on beta. These are the Walker Assault on Hoth, Drop Zone on Sullust and the Survival Mission on Tatooine. Only the Survival Mission on Tatooine can be played via split screen.

Credits and scores gained on the beta version will not be carried out to the main game. There's also a chance for you to play the hero if you can locate the power-ups within the game.
