Former New England Patriots player Donté Stallworth revealed that Tom Brady used to pay practice squad defenders for intercepting his passes.

According to Bleacher Report, Stallworth, a former Patriots wide receiver, tweeted that when he was on the team, Brady used to pay practice squad defenders who intercepted his passes. You can check out the full tweet below.

This comes on the heels of news that Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill mocked practice squad players during Saturday's practice, after the defenders came up with interceptions. According to reports, Tannehill yelled, "Enjoy your practice squad paycheck, enjoy your practice squad trophy."

That comment caught the ire of Hall of Fame tight end Shannon Sharpe, who tweeted about the incident, saying, "Tannehill if those guys are picking you off. Imagine what's going to happen. When you play experienced dbs. Guppy problems."

According to SB Nation, practice squad players make at least $6,000 per week. It is not known how much money New England Patriots practice squad defenders get for intercepting Brady's passes.

Stallworth, who played for the Patriots from 2007 to 2012, also said that comparing Brady to Tannehill is like comparing a battleship to a rowboat.

Coming off a bye week, the Patriots will put their undefeated record on the line, as they travel to AT&T Stadium to face the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

In three games, Brady has thrown for 1,112 yards with 9 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. He joins Aaron Rodgers as the only quarterbacks in the NFL not to throw an interception this year.
