GTA 5 Gameplay and PS4, Xbox One & PC Release Date: Rockstar Games to Announce Next-Gen Grand Theft Auto V at E3?
Many Grand Theft Auto V gamers have been wondering when they will see their favorite game on next-gen consoles Xbox One and PlayStation 4 as well as on the PC. According to new sources, Grand Theft Auto V for PS4 is on its way.
This week, Eurogamer Portugal reported that Worten is now accepting pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto V for PS4 despite the fact that Rockstar Games has never announced the game. According to Segment Next, the website is even "accepting cash."
Eurogamer recently contacted Worten to verify the game.
"We would inform you that we have the information that Worten stores will sell the game in question," Worten said according to a Google translation via Segment Next.
Last week, at Sony Computer Entertainment's Destination PlayStation event, the future of the console was discussed in Scottsdale, Arizona. According to Lokiolr, a Twitter user who describes himself as "Co-founder of the Voice Of Geeks Network Host of Orange Lounge Radio XBOX," Rockstar Games' presence was minimal but promising.
"Rockstar had something amazing to show but bailed at the last minute. Expect an E3 announcement from them this year. Likely GTA V on nextgen," Lokiolr said via DualShockers.
In addition, GK4.me, a German website, is selling Steam keys for a PC version of Grand Theft Auto V. The latter, however, is raising a red flag for some gamers.
"...the Steam keys have been on sale for the three weeks now," Motoring Crunch reports. "The worrying thing is that when demands are high, the scammers will tend to take advantage of these situations."
These sites are not the only ones claiming to have access to Grand Theft Auto V for new systems. For the past few weeks, PC gamers have found hope in Amazon, whose Germany store has a listing for Grand Theft Auto V PC, and whose French site used to have the same. Amazon Germany lists Grand Theft Auto V PC at 60 euros and says it is compatible with Windows 7 and Windows Vista but does not list minimum system requirements. In addition, Czech retailer SuperGamer has listings for the game for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. It claims the games will be available starting June 13. Fans say the rumor has at least some credibility as the date is a Friday, a popular day for developers to release games.
