A New York property that served as the childhood home of the voice actress for Tigress in the upcoming "Kung Fu Panda 3" movie, Angelina Jolie, is offered on the market for a little over $2 million, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing real-estate agent Richard Ellis of Ellis Sotheby's International Realty, which handles the listing. Brandon Wagner of the same real estate firm is his co-listing agent.

The said one-time residence of the "Maleficent" star features four bedrooms and displays a mid-century vibe. Marcheline Bertrand, the mother of The Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award winner in 2013 has purchased the 4,000-square-foot abode in the 1980s, noted the Journal, citing real estate public records.

The Rockland County abode sitting on almost two acres of land provides a haven away from the city. It displays verdant views of matured trees and grass as seen in the photos. More images of the property are featured on Today, showing details like naturally light-filled living spaces, open floor plans that contribute to a more airy and comfortable ambiance, soaring ceilings with exposed roof beams, stone walls and medium brown hardwood-lined flooring that gives the home its elegant look.

The dwelling place, which is just less than half an hour away from New York City, has an inviting entrance adorned with brick floors.

Jolie has directed the film under Universal Pictures, noted the site. It is said to be set in France during the 1970s. The movie centers on the lives of a husband and wife, whose relationship is growing apart.
