2K Sports Reveals DLC Content for WWE 2K16 [Watch]
Although there are still 2 weeks to wait for the release of WWE 2K16, publisher 2K Sports has already announced plans for DLC content.
2K confirmed WWE 2K16's upcoming DLC schedule, which will offer six different packages of additional content to be launched between the game's release and April 2016.
The Accelerator DLC will give players access to all of the in-game unlockable characters and content for $1.99. As the wrestling game is expected to pack an enormous roster of over 120 characters, a lot of gamers may be want to jump on this affordable opportunity, though it is only available for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One editions of the game.
Gamers who want to further customize their character creations can purchase the MyPlayer Kickstart for $9.99, which will grant them a ratings boost in MyCareer mode.
The Legends Pack for $8.99 will give players access to classic wrestlers such as "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, Big Boss Man, Dusty Rhodes, Trish Straus, Lita, and Mr. Perfect. The "Future Stars" DLC will have NXT superstars Samoa Joe, Fernando, Blake and Murphy, and Diego made playable for $7.99.
Outside of new characters, the $3.99 New Moves pack will let you perform the Avalanche Ram, Sidewinder Suplex, Dragon Sleeper and Standing Crossface Chickenwing on opponents in the ring.
Finally, the 2015 Hall of Fame Showcase offers an awesome single player campaign that takes gamers through a variety of classic matches including Randy "Macho Man" Savage vs. Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Rikishi vs. The Rock, and The Outsiders vs. Harlem Heat. It costs $9.99.
If all of these options seem too good to pass up, players can save themselves some dough by opting for the Season Pass, which includes the Accelerator, Legends Pack, Future Stars, New Moves and 2015 Hall of Fame Showcase for one price of $24.99.
The Digital Deluxe Edition of WWE 2K16 is now available for preorder on Xbox Live and PSN, giving you access to the game as well as the Season Pass, and a few other nice perks depending on what system you purchase it for.
