Gwyneth Paltrow always comes off as someone who just feels as though she's so much better than everyone else. Even though, by NYC standards, she was raised upper-middle class (her mother was a B-list actress; her father, a B-list director), she tries to come across so high-society, so Lady-of-the-Manor, so holier-than-thou that the average person would find her sickening (present company included). So, it comes as no surprise to anyone that a few of her former high school friends have confirmed that she was a "mean girl" even back then. 

According to Radar Online, Pretentious Paltrow was even more pretentious when she was a teenager. The site sat down with former classmates of the "star" who confirmed that she was always someone who "thought she was better than the rest of us." Indeed, before the expose in Vanity Fair came out -- which drove her stock down exponentially -- many have confirmed that she felt she was "entitled" to things, and didn't have to work for them the way the rest of the "commoners" had to do.

"She was in a play where she had the princess role and she told another girl in school that 'of course' she was playing that role because she was a princess and the other girl was not and that's why she didn't get the role. No one was surprised, she was so smug, even back then," said the former friend.

The Vanity Fair article that Pretentious Paltrow tried to desperately to stop -- but executive editor Graydon Carter let loose anyway -- only further accentuates that calling her a See You Next Tuesday would be the understatement of the year. Amongst the revelations:

  • She has pissed off many people in the industry -- namely Winona Ryder (who she stole Shakespeare in Love from), Kate Moss (whom she insulted at a fashion show), Martha Stewart (whom she stole her entire "lifestyle brand" from), and Madonna (whom she actively campaigned against)
  • She has aligned herself with questionable characters ("fitness guru" Tracy Anderson, whom has been jailed for not paying her bills, sued for back rent, and "allegedly" stole money from her former business partners)
  • She's a serial cheater (her relationship with Brad Pitt ended because she cheated on him with a co-star; her relationship with Ben Affleck ended because she cheated with Viggo Mortensen; she's reportedly cheating on husband Chris Martin with rapper Jay-Z)
  • Her "uber healthy" act is just that -- an act: she smokes continuously, eats fast food (but will deny her children the privilege of eating a cupcake at a birthday party -- in fact, she has come under further criticism because she has ADMITTED to "starving" her children. CLASSY...), has horrendous skin and body odor, and gets her "good shape" from bulimic behavior.
  • She has utilized the casting couch to get all of her roles -- including with her "godfather," Stephen Spielberg.
