Macbook Pro Retina vs. MacBook Air 2014 Specs, Features, Price & Comparison: Apple Terminates Old Versions of MacBook Pro
Now that Apple finally has a Macbook Pro with retina screens, the company is phasing out its older MacBook Pro computers completely.
This marks a stark turnaround for the company that was often criticized for its delay in introducing the retina screen to its computers. The special enhanced screen was one of the most anticipated features of new MacBook Pro computers for quite some time, and now Apple wants to get rid of its predecessors completely.
Reports have suggested that Apple may test a new touch screen on MacBook computers in the near future, perhaps as soon as this summer when the company is expected by many to release a new line of computers. If Apple does indeed go through with it, things could get interesting considering that the touch screen would merge together tablets, phones, and computers on one device. Could we end up seeing an all-in-one device in the near future?
All in all, Apple remains notoriously quiet and never tends to speak out about lingering rumors surrounding new products. We will have to wait and see when the tech giant comes through with another release, but we will most likely see a number of photos and information leaked in the time leading up to the next MacBook release.
As far as other plans for Apple in the near future, the company is expected to roll out new iPhones before the end of the calendar year and many people have suggested that the company may end up releasing two phones before we reach 2015.
What do you think will be introduced in the next line of MacBook Pro and MacBook Air computers? Do you think the computers will be improved or will they stay relatively the same? Let us know what you think in the comments section located below.
