The Dallas Cowboys recently lost to the New England Patriots in week five of the NFL season, 30-6. The loss was the Cowboys' third straight after winning their first two games. This can be attributed to the fact that two key players for Dallas are missing, wide receiver Dez Bryant and starting quarterback Tony Romo.

Bryant suffered a broken foot in the team's season opener against the New York Giants, per NFL.com while Romo fractured his collarbone in the third quarter of their second game versus the Philadelphia Eagles, as reported by ESPN.

The 35-year-old quarterback has been put on the Injured Reserve List as he recovers from his injury. He was also at the sidelines during the game against the Patriots. After loosing to the defending Super Bowl champions, cameras caught Romo telling Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, "See you in February," per CBS Sports.

The report notes that the first conclusion on what the injured Dallas quarterback said is that he thinks the New England will be returning to the Super Bowl this year and will be facing the Cowboys. CBS Sports added some funny reasons on why Romo said such statement. According to the news outlet, he may be the one covering the Super Bowl, he was just misquoted saying, "See you at Burberry" or the four-time Pro Bowler was just being sarcastic.

Romo sure is confident, but the Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is worried that their season is already over. He told Dallas News, "How realistic is it for Romo and Bryant to come back and then we win all of them [at least nine games]? It's not. We really do need to be playing better than we are playing. If we don't do that, then it might be too late."

Romo is still on a sling but is eligible to return on Nov. 22 against the Miami Dolphins while Dez Bryant's return is uncertain as he has not been cleared to play, as reported by CBS Sports. The Cowboys just have to start winning games without their stars.

The team made some adjustments in this week's matchup versus the Giants as they named Matt Cassel as their starting quarterback over Brandon Weeden, who has lost his last three starts since taking over Romo in week three, per Dallas News.

As for the Patriots, ESPN's Football Power Index gave them a 47.5 percent chance to make a trip to Super Bowl 50 at Levi's Stadium in the San Francisco Bay Area. Their projected opponents are the Arizona Cardinals, who have a 35.8 chance of making the Super Bowl.
