Lea Michelle Strips Down for Magazine Cover, 'Scream Queens' Star Talks About Cory Monteith's Untimely Death
Former "Glee" star Lea Michelle is taking her latest magazine cover by storm. Showing off more skin than usual, Michelle poses for Marie Claire's November 2015 issue and talked about her newfound confidence, her late ex-boyfriend Cory Monteith and her current romance with Matthew Paetz.
Michelle was always known to be private in her personal life, but in her latest interview with Marie Claire, the "Scream Queens" star revealed a few details about how she was able to move forward with the unfortunate death of her former "Glee" co-star and real-life boyfriend Monteith.
"Getting to the other side takes a lot of work. All you can do is get to the other side. It's a struggle. When you do, there is happiness there. It's important to me to keep private some of that process with how I got here. But I am here, I am good, and I am very grateful for that," Michelle told the magazine.
The actress is definitely moving forward with a new love interest, Paetz, who she revealed to be "a good cook." She told Marie Claire, "Food, for me, was always about love and connecting."
Looking more fit in her latest Marie Claire cover, she confidently shared her favorite body part. "I love my butt. It is a showstopper," she told Marie Claire.
It is not the first time that Michelle showed more skin for a magazine cover. In fact, her Women's Health cover for its November 2015 issue showed off her abs. Right now, however, Michelle is just busy with her new Fox show, which is also created by "Glee" and "American Horror Story" creator Ryan Murphy, reports Daily Mail.
In the show, Michelle previously shared that she didn't really scream that often. "I refuse to scream on the show," Lea told Women's Health. "Ryan got me in a booth one day and I told him "I'm screaming like twice and then you're going to have to use it the whole season," she added.
With that, Michelle shared her new attitude for show business, telling Marie Claire, "Everybody thinks you're a star with roses being dropped at your feet," she said. "You have to take some fucking punches. Now I have my groove...I am much more aware. I also don't care as much. I am very content with me."
