New York Yankees' star player Alex Rodriguez's ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis is selling her luxury home in Florida.

Cynthia, who was divorced in 2008 from the Yankees' designated hitter, offers her Miami Beach retreat place for $7.15 million, Realtor.com reported. A-Rod's ex-wife just bought the property two years ago for $2.87 million, the real estate site noted, citing property records. Thus, Cynthia will profit so much from the deal as she listed it for two and a half times the amount she paid it for in 2013.

The listing describes the high-end residence as a "Palm Island contemporary waterfront masterpiece," which was just "fully remodeled" last year to display a tropical vibe befitting the modern times.

The 4,535-square-foot beach residence, built in the 1950s, features four and a half bathrooms and four bedrooms including a master bedroom with an "ocean-view master bath." The two-story house, resting on more than 8,800 square feet of Florida land, displays a foyer, a light-filled living room, a formal dining room, a deck and an eat-in kitchen with marble accents and stainless steel appliances.

Equipment included in the sale are a dishwasher, a disposal, a dryer, an icemaker, a microwave, an electric range, a refrigerator and a washer.

Notable interiors include a comfortable and convenient open floor plan, high ceilings that give an airy ambiance and spanning glass panels that offer scenic ocean views. Basing on the photos, the waterfront home displays an elegant and chic aura, courtesy mainly of the immaculately white motif and sleek decors found in the home. The images also show a striking contrast between the plain finishing and mandala-type designs showcased on the walls and carpets.

Outdoors, aside from "endless Biscayne Bay and city views," the next owners will have fun with amenities like a covered barbecue station, a patio with easy access to the sand and sea as well as a lavish infinity edged swimming pool.

A-Rod's comeback year

Meanwhile, Cynthia's ex-husband A-Rod returned to the Yankees' lineup after 17 months of absence, MLB.com announced in March.

The Yankees welcomed him with open arms, and outfielder Carlos Beltran simply told USA Today that it is because he is part of the team.

"We don't need to take him back. He's part of the team," Beltran said.

"It doesn't matter what you have done in the past," the outfielder added.

A-Rod, who signed two of the biggest contracts in MLB history ($275 million in 2007 and $252 million in 2000), per Baseball Prospectus,  got a 162-game ban for his involvement in using performance-enhancing drugs (PEDS), informed CNBC in 2014.
