'Destiny' Gameplay Update: 'Hard Mode' for King's Fall Raid Coming Out
A recent "Destiny" update reveals that the sci-fi shooter game will be receiving its Hard Mode this week for the King's Fall Raid.
According to GameSpot, the said mode is expected to be released on Oct. 23 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time. Bungie gave a tip on how to tackle the mode, recommending using 300 to 320 Light for the raid.
Unfortunately, the company also announced the delay of the much-anticipated 3v3 Crucible event, "Trials of Osiris." However, Bungie only supplied information regarding a bug fix and no detailed and exact reason for the delay was given.
The announcement was made through Bungie's official website. The company wrote, "We're going to disable that bug before we invite you to take your next run at a 9-0. We're also working on a final fix for the bug itself as soon as possible."
Bungie also confirmed that the loot, which will come with the King's Fall Raid, will be 310 to 320. The update 2.0.1 has also been released and some new revelations were made clear by the developer. Questions about the Iron Banner rewards revealed that they can only be acquired when a player reaches Rank 2 with Lord Saladin. The Nightfall rewards are expected to arrive next week.
Meanwhile, "Destiny" has been introducing all sorts of new features. Bungie introduced the game's microtransaction feature, which requires real money to buy the game's new currency, Silver. Silver can be used to purchase the 18 new emotes for the game. However, the new currency cannot be earned by playing "Destiny" or completing challenges, so players who wish to earn Silver must buy it using real money. Bungie will also give out free 400 Silvers upon launching so that players will not be empty-handed.
Along with the introduction of Silver is the arrival of Tess Everis of the Eververse Trading Corp. Bungie assured players of a good transaction after they launched some update, including a guide support for Eververse and the Silver currency.
A "Vital Information Thread" has also been launched to track down concerns of "Destiny" players regarding the Eververse Trading Corp. Bungie also confirmed that with Saladin's return to the Tower, this means that the Iron Banner is also back in the Crucible Menu. The changes made can also be seen on the Iron Banner FAQ.
