Will Smith will be performing at the Latin Grammy Awards slated to take place in Las Vegas on Nov. 19.

The 47-year-old is slated to make performance alongside Bomba Estereo.

Smith recently released a video of the group's "Fiesta" on Facebook rapping in both Spanish and English. It is the first time he has been rapping in a recorded track since his 2005 album "Lost and Found."

"Performing at the Latin Grammy Awards is a huge honor for me," Smith said in a statement according to People.com. "I'll be surrounded by so many talented artists whose music has such profound global impact. I can't think of a more perfect place for Bomba Estereo and I to perform 'Fiesta Remix' for the first time onstage."

Smith's music career got started in the late '80s when he was making recordings with DJ Jazzy Jeff. Among the albums the two recorded are "Rock the House" (1987), "He's the DJ, I'm the Rapper" (1988), "And in This Corner" (1989), "Homebase" (1991), and "Code Red" (1993).

He then went on a run as a soloist recording four albums between 1997 and 2005, including "Willenium" and "Big Willie Style." Some of his biggest hits included "Men in Black," "Getting Jiggy with it," "Just the Two of Us," "Wild Wild West," "Will 2K" and "Freakin' It."

More recently Smith has been well-known for his work as an actor, starring in such movies as "Men in Black" (and its sequels), "Independence Day," "Bad Boys," "Hitch," "I am Legend," "The Pursuit of Happyness" (for which he earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor), and "Ali."

He is slated to appear in the upcoming "Suicide Squad" and can next be seen in "Concussion."

Bomba Estereo is a Colombian band that focuses on such music genres as Electro and Cumbia. The current members of the group include Simon Mejia, Julian Salazar and Liliana Saumet. Bomba Estereo has released four albums between 2006 and 2015 including "Volumen 1," "Estalla," "Elegancia Tropical" and the most recent one "Amanecer" with Sony Music.

The16th Annual Latin Grammys will air on Univision from 8-11 p.m. on Nov. 19.
