The "Star Wars Battlefront" open beta gave players a tantalizing taste of the upcoming game. Data miners once again dug around the beta files for more hidden details and they uncovered plenty, including specifics on heroes, weapons, modes and so much more.
According to a report from Game Zone, a forum on Neogaf consolidated the information and broke it down. The playable heroes were revealed in the newly released data as well as their abilities in the upcoming game. Some of the characters' special capabilities are Darth Vader's Force Choke to strangle his enemies and Saber Throw, which enables him to throw his lightsaber over a distance. Luke Skywalker will be able to push and charge at enemies while Boba Fett is equipped with a jetpack for flight and a Rocket Barrage.
A previous report from Latin Post revealed that more iconic characters such as Han Solo, Princess Leia and Emperor Palpatine will be a part of "Star Wars Battlefront," and this most recent leak confirmed their presence.
Han Solo will be able to do a variety of moves including an intriguing option for a Lucky Shot, the report from Game Zone revealed. On the other hand, Princess Leia has the ability to one shot enemies with the Trooper Bane, protect and help her allies and dodge fire with a combat roll. There's also the option for an Alderaan Honor Guard to start on her.
Emperor Palpatine seems to be a powerful player with his ability to harness the power of the Dark side with Force Lightning. He can also use Imperial Resources to give powers to his followers, and perform the Mind Trick on enemies.
A huge collection of weapons, Star Cards and vehicles were also included in the data dump, highlighting the expansiveness of the "Star Wars Battlefront." Emotes were also listed such as "The Bro Fist," "Lightsaber Fight" and "The LOL."
Among the multi-player game modes revealed are the Walker Assault, Supremacy, Drop Zone, Droid Run, Cargo, Fighter Squadron, Hero Hunt, Heroes vs Villains and Blast, a team deathmatch, according to a report from PCGamesN.
The entire data dump is available at Pastebin.
