Ryan Sweeting has agreed to sign Kaley Cuoco's divorce papers on one condition. According to recent reports, the former tennis sensation has also asked for spousal support, which is said to be one of the agreed conditions on their prenuptial agreement.

According to E! News, Sweeting formally filed his divorce papers on Oct. 15. On it the tennis player cited "irreconcilable differences" as reason for the separation, the same reasoning Cuoco wrote on her court documents. However, there were some points noted by E! News that did not match, suggesting a lengthy process in finalizing their divorce.

Sweeting placed Sept. 25 as the separation date, the same date Cuoco filed her divorce papers. While the 29-year old actress wrote Sept. 3 as the separation date. He also asked for spousal support and requested for the court to terminate its ability to give support to Cuoco.

"The Big Bang Theory" star had noted on her divorce papers that spousal support will be paid as agreed on the prenuptial agreement, which they signed on Nov. 20, 2013. But it is still subject to termination if indicated by the court.  

Sweeting and Cuoco announced their mutual separation on Sept. 25 through a joint statement. Various reasons were speculated as to the cause of the divorce. One includes Sweeting's reported addiction to pain killers.

According to Extra, a source close to the actress revealed he has been taking too much of the prescribed medication for his back injury. It is believed the medication gave Sweeting mood swings and that Cuoco could no longer take his ups and downs. At times, he would lash out at the actress.

Another source believed to be a friend to Cuoco told US Weekly (via News.com.au) that the actress got tired of supporting Sweeting get rid of his addiction since he was not willing to help himself. By the time had had reportedly decided to go to rehab in Boston, it was already too late since she had already filed for divorce.

"She supported him but she said he couldn't make the commitment to get sober. He's tell her he was working on it and instead go get wasted," the source said.

Cuoco and Sweeting were married for less than 21 months. They tied the knot after a whirlwind three-month relationship. Following the divorce, the actress had deleted all traces of her once married life, even photos of Sweeting, from her Instagram feed.
