During Activision's Black Ops Friday Livestream, developer Treyarch revealed that the "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" is indeed getting a new mode called the Free Run.

According to Attack of the Fan Boy, the new mode is a first for the "Call of Duty" franchise. Under the Free Run mode, players are challenged to do free runs over obstacles while performing the actions being introduced in "Call of Duty: Black Ops III." Also, the Loyalty Personalization Pack was introduced, where players are given certain rewards after they finished doing selected challenges within the game.

In the Loyalty Personalization Pack, a player will have to reach a certain level in order to receive the reward.

For "Call of Duty: Black Ops II", players will receive a Multiplayer Calling Card upon reaching level 10 whereas in "Call of Duty: Ghosts," when players reach level 31, a Multiplayer Weapon Sight Reticles will be given. For those who are currently on the "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare," a player must reach the prestige level in order to get the Multiplayer Weapon Camo.

To receive the rewards, players must link their accounts on or before Nov. 5, a day prior to the game's release. Take note that the Loyalty Personalization Pack is only available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users.

CinemaBlend considers the Free Run mode of the "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" as a training mode, where players are challenged to race against time in order to take on supreme leadership.

The Free Run mode is also available at the start of the "Call of Duty" game, which means that players are not required to reach a certain level in order to unlock it. While other modes serve as a reward for players after conquering certain challenges, for Free Run, Treyarch thinks otherwise.

The Free Run has two effective ways to interest its fans. These include the process of time competition and a mode that relentlessly put players on the run and discover the different ways they can conquer a level such as boosts, thrusters and wall runs.

Even though it didn't impress some "Call of Duty" fans, the Free Run mode posts as an innovative addition from Treyarch.

"Call of Duty: Black Ops III" is set to be released by Treyarch and Activision on Nov. 6. "Black Ops III" will be available on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
