Hip-hop star Lil Wayne is facing a lawsuit, alleging he threatened his tour bus driver at gunpoint and later stiffed him on an agreed $75,000 out of court settlement.

TMZ reports driver Mark Jones initially filed suit in Manhattan Supreme Court in April. He also alleged the 33-year-old rap star cursed and threatened to pistol-whip him, after the driver stopped the bus near Buffalo for a fill-up, following a concert performance with Drake at the Darien Lake Performing Arts Center.

Word is a perturbed Wayne insisted that the man immediately take him to his hotel. The victim further alleges that since they reached their initial settlement, he hasn't "seen a cent." Jones is now also seeking an extra $887.52 in interest on formal allegations of false imprisonment, assault and emotional distress.

According to Syracuse.com, when Jones contacted Wayne about reneging on their initial settlement, he was told that the Grammy Award-winning artist had "forgotten" to send the check.

Born Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., Wayne previously served a year in prison after being caught with a semiautomatic weapon on his tour bus in New York in 2007.

The rapper formally pleaded guilty to the charges after DNA evidence directly linked him to the weapon. Initially, attorneys for the rapper hinted that he was the victim of harassment at the hands of the city's infamous "hip-hop squad" known for allegedly targeting rappers.

The rapper's attorney Stacey Richman also questioned why her client was the only one of 20 people on the bus who was instantly targeted and taken into custody.

While incarcerated, Wayne drew the wrath of jail officials after guards found a charger and headphones for a digital music player stashed in his cell.
