‘Supernatural’ Season 11, Episode 3 Spoilers and Recap: New Ground Broken in Latest Episode
Season 11 of "Supernatural" has been a roller coaster ride of new stories and plot twists. But last night, the show broke new ground and officially put things into perspective for the season's main characters.
First of all, the spell that Castiel was under at the end of Season 10 was still in full force. He is hell-bent on attacking Crowley, but he will let his aggressions out on anyone, especially innocent female victims, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Sam and Dean must make every effort to relieve him of the curse, but they cannot do that without the assistance of Rowena, who is the source of the original magic.
When they track her down, they find that she is trying to recruit other witches from the Grand Coven to bring into her new Mega Coven. If she is eventually successful with that, then the season will have two big-bads to deal with. But fortunately, she has been unsuccessful thus far.
But with her failings, she also gets a bit of losers contempt and kills those that refused her. One thing that's for sure is Rowena is one of the sorest losers in the past two seasons that fans have come to see.
So when Sam and Dean finally locate her, they have to bring her back to Castiel who is now loose and about to kill a woman. Rowena was able to remove the curse just in time, but she slipped through cracks and got away before they could deal with her.
In the other main story, Crowley is still playing the doting uncle to young Amara, who seems to show little to no interest in his evil plans. But she is quite enjoying the scrumptious buffet of demons that have been coming her way, making her grow more and more.
Crowley even has her in front of a computer, listening to all of Hitler's speeches to serve as an inspiration, but she is not taking well to his evil agenda.
