Gamers are now able to begin instantly live streaming their gaming sessions on Xbox One through the new Twitch App. This is something that Sony PS4 gamers have been able to do for quite some time now. The only thing you will need to do is to make sure that your Twitch app is properly set up.

The new console from Microsoft has recently gained the ability to broadcast with Twitch. Twitch is a streaming service that has more than 45 million users who are constantly logging into their accounts each week to watch their favorite gaming content live.

From the home screen on your Xbox One console, select the option for 'store.' Once in the store, select 'Apps' and then select 'Twitch'. Once you have located the app, select the 'get it free' option. Your Xbox One is now equipped with the live streaming app.

To link the app to your Xbox One console you will need to make sure that you already have an account with Twitch. If you do not, you are able to create one for no charge from your PC or mobile device on their website. If you do have an existing account you will need to make sure that you are already logged into it from your PC, smartphone, or tablet. Once you are logged in, you will need to open the Twitch app on Xbox One and log in. On the Twitch website you will need to activate your console by entering a 6 digit code that will be shown on your television screen. Your Xbox One gamer tag and Twitch accounts will now be linked.
