Adele '25' Release News: Singer Premieres New Single ‘Hello’ From Upcoming Album
Adele has released the lead single "Hello" from her forthcoming album '25.'
The 27-year-old British singer premiered the new song on BBC Radio 1 on Friday, Oct. 23, according to BBC News.
As breakfast show host Nick Grimshaw was cuing the song up, the singer said she was "going to belch."
"My hips just started hurting, as I'm getting so nervous," she said. "There's a heartbeat in my hips for some reason."
Before the new single was played on the radio, it was first teased on a commercial break during Sunday's episode of "The X Factor."
Along with the single and title of her upcoming album, Adele recently announced the release date and track list as well. The singer has followed the pattern of naming her albums after the age she was when she began working on each album. Her last album "21" earned her six Grammy awards, and her debut album "19" was considered a breakthrough success.
"Turning 25 was a turning point for me, slap bang in the middle of my twenties," she wrote.
"Teetering on the edge of being an old adolescent and a fully fledged adult, I made the decision to go into becoming who I'm going to be forever without a removal van full of my old junk. I miss everything about my past, the good and the bad, but only because it won't come back."
Adele was asked if she feels any pressure to deliver with this new album due to the success that came with her "21" album.
"Because of my last album, because of what it went on to do, it was kind of a write-off to ever expect anything with this album, the new one, like that," Adele said. "So actually it made it a bit easier."
Adele will release her third studio album, "25," on Nov. 20.
