Daniel Tosh Recreates Selena Gomez’s ‘Good For You’ Music Video
Daniel Tosh has recreated Selena Gomez's "Good For You" music video.
The 40-year-old "Tosh.0" host put together a scene-by-scene reenactment of the 23-year-old's most recent video, according to Entertainment Weekly.
In the original music video, Gomez is seen rolling around in a pink and purple colored robe on a bright green couch, showering and sitting on a stool wearing nothing but a large white T-shirt.
In Tosh's version of the video, he imitates all the looks Gomez dons in her version, including black lingerie and eye makeup as well. In addition, Carrot Top makes a cameo appearance, taking over A$AP Rocky's segment in the video.
The comedian explained on Twitter exactly why he randomly dropped the video without warning.
"why? Because I know every word to the @selenagomez song 'good for you' and I have lots of money," Tosh wrote on Twitter with a link to his video.
Tosh has been hosting his Comedy Central show "Tosh.0" since 2009. The show sees him providing commentary to online video clips, social news, celebrities and other viral pop culture references.
Gomez recently released her second solo studio album, "Revival," on Oct. 9. So far the album has produced the singles "Good For You" and "Same Old Love." This album is the follow-up to her 2013 debut solo studio album, "Stars Dance," which produced the singles "Come & Get It" and "Slow Down."
Before Gomez became a solo artist, she was part of the group Selena Gomez & the Scene. The group released three albums: "Kiss & Tell" (2009), "A Year Without Rain" (2010) and "When the Sun Goes Down" (2011). Before breaking out as a singer, Gomez appeared on the Disney channel in shows such as "Wizards of Waverly Place," "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody" and "Hannah Montana."
