PS Plus November 2015 Free Games: Expecting a Big Anniversary Month, or Continuing Decline in Selection?
The end of the month is coming up, and while most will be excited about Halloween, PS Plus members have a different event on their minds: the release of the PS Plus free games list for November.
So what titles are coming to the subscription service for free download? Will it include any AAA titles? Will the indie selections be any good this time around?
The forums have been very busy with predictions from hardcore PlayStation fans, and here's what some of them are thinking.
PS Plus November Free Games
Big Month, or More Decline?
First thing on PS Plus members' minds is how disappointing October's free games releases were for many.
As one poster on the PlayStation community forums put it, "I can see many just truly disappointed compared to other months," adding that for November, he "wouldn't expect any AAA or AA games on Ps4 or Ps Vita right now, and maybe soon the PS3."
However, another poster noted that November 2015 is officially the second anniversary of the PS4's release, and hoped for "something special" coming out in the early or mid-November round in celebration.
Skeptics abound though: "The year started out really strong for PS+... but then it began to slowly fade down around June," wrote one user, marking the slow decline in quality of both independent and AAA games through the last few months. "From June and forward, I only really enjoyed Metal Gear, Rocket League, Limbo, and Super Meat Boy."
And to cap it off, this eminently sarcastic user posted his feelings about what PS Plus selections have been like for the last few months, and what he believes November's free games list will bring:
1. Indie game only a few people would care about.
2. Indie game only a few people would care about.
3. Indie game only a few people would care about.
4. Indie game only a few people would care about.
5. Indie game only a few people would care about.
6. Indie game only a few people would care about.
