Three of the main stars on Bravo's "Real Housewives of New York" are refusing to film any scenes for the show's upcoming eighth season until their salaries are more aligned with the $1 million rumored to be paid franchise star Bethenny Frankel.

The New York Post reports LuAnn de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer are all refusing to shoot new scenes while they work to hammer out new deals.

But a source claims the new hardball tactics taken by the trio could actually prove to work against them, given Frankel's "long list of friends," some of which she is rumored to be on the verge of pushing as potential replacements for them.

"Bethenny is close with [executive producer] Andy Cohen," a source said. "She has a long list of friends she can just find to replace them."

Meanwhile, de Lesseps, Morgan and Singer are all reported to be forming a united front hopes of all making the best deal for themselves.

"The negotiations are always down to the last minute, but now the show's started filming," a source said, adding Frankel, Dorinda Medley and Carole Radziwill have all shot scenes.

"The others are not filming."

De Lesseps is described as a "wild-card" in all the talks, with reports indicating producers appear excited about a potential storyline for her this season.

"She's getting a new apartment in Manhattan and a plotline this season will be her decorating the apartment," said a source, adding the usually socially driven Morgan has taken to flying under the radar until a new deal can be secured.

The 44-year-old Frankel returned to the cast of the show last season after walking away for a while to focus more attention and dedicate added time to running her wildly successful Skinnygirl cocktail brand.
