The 2015-16 NBA season is set to kick off on Tuesday night. Here are the list of some players most fantasy owners are picking up heading into the opening week.

Mo Williams - Cleveland Cavaliers

Mo Williams is not expected to earn major minutes in the upcoming season, but the veteran point guard is a must-own player in the first several weeks of the new season.

Williams will start for the Cavaliers until superstar playmaker Kyrie Irving returns from a knee injury late this year or in early 2016. The 32-year-old point guard played 27 games for the Charlotte Hornets late last season and posted decent numbers -- 17.2 points, 6.0 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 2.2 three-pointers a game.

Gerald Green - Miami Heat

Gerald Green also deserves a serious look for fantasy owners who still have a room for another guard. The high-flying Miami Heat guard is being considered by most analyst as a good signing for the Heat because of the energy he could provide off the bench this season.

The 29-year-old guard averaged 11.9 points on top of 2.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 74 games last season with the Indiana Pacers. He also averaged 1.9 three-pointers and 19.5 minutes per game.

Green earned a lot of attention over the past several days after he averaged 23.0 points and 4.5 rebounds to go along with 2.75 three-pointers in their last four preseason games.

Jeremy Lin - Charlotte Hornets

Jeremy Lin is also worth a serious look, especially after Charlotte Hornets team owner Michael Jordan called the former Harvard University standout as their biggest acquisition during the offseason.

Lin could have a good year this season, as there is less pressure on his shoulders because he will play alongside Kemba Walker. In their last five preseason games, the 27-year-old point guard averaged 15.0 points on 58.1 percent shooting from the field to go along with 4.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game.

Kyle O'Quinn - New York Knicks

Kyle O'Quinn could be the first man off the bench for the New York Knicks this season and could also be in the running for a starting spot if rookie Kristaps Porzingis fails to impress early in the season.

O'Quinn posted double-doubles with excellent field-goal percentages in two of their last four preseason games -- 14 points on 55.6 percent shooting and 10 rebounds against the Washington Wizards, and 13 points on 55.6 percent shooting and 11 rebounds against the Boston Celtics.
