Android Apps vs. iOS 7 Apps 2014: Google Hangouts, Vine, & Venmo Among Top Apps In Apple Store & Google Play?
Instead of always searching for the fresh and new applications, which are not always reliable or very developed, sometimes it is best to take a look at some of the most established popular applications on the web.
Today we'll take a look at some of the best Android and Apple applications that have made a mark in their respective app stores. Of course, all applications tend to endure rocky periods featuring bugs and crashes, but these ones have made it through regardless. Take a look at our list and let us know if you agree or disagree by voicing your opinion in the comments section below.
1. Google Hangouts -- How ironic is it that we're talking about a Google app on a day when Google has experienced widespread issues with Google docs, Google chat/hangouts, and more? At any rate, this app was ranked by PC Magazine as one of the top applications of the year 2013. Users are able to handle their SMS messages through this and you can also enjoy video conferences with as many as a dozen people, a feature that is not available on many other video chatting platforms.
2. Venmo -- Cash is not readily available like it used to be and many people are making the switch to just using debit cards. With this in mind, Venmo gained plenty of steam due to the fact that it allows users to transfer money from one person to the next with a tap of an iPhone screen.
3. Vine -- Everyone expected Vine to disappear once Instagram videos were introduced to the world. This wasn't exactly the case and now people still enjoy the hilarious short video compilations that are often created after a long series of videos are released.
What do you think about these three apps? Which one is your favorite? Let us know in the comments section!
