Battlefield 4 vs. Call of Duty: Ghosts on PS4 and Xbox One: Call Of Duty's DLC 2 Coming In April; BF4 Gamers Unhappy With Ads
Call of Duty: Ghosts gamers have something to look forward to, but not for another few weeks.
A second DLC pack, which will feature four multiplayer maps, new tactical sub machine guns, and assault rifles, will be released in the first week of April, according to the Call of Duty website. The official release date for the new DLC 2 is slated for April 3 on Xbox Live.
The Call of Duty website is building up the hype by describing the new assault rifle, which is called the Ripper 2-in-1 SMG/AR, in great detail.
"The Ripper is the ideal weapon companion for Devastation's mix of multiplayer maps," the site reads. "Providing players with two different configurations: medium to short-range capability as a Sub Machine-Gun (SMG), and medium to long-range as an Assault Rifle (AR). This unique 2-in-1 weapon has the ability to switch from SMG to AR and back again on the fly in the midst of battle, at the touch of a button, giving maximum flexibility to adjust to a variety of map types and tactics."
The game's website also mentioned a great deal of information about the new maps, which take place in three locations around the world and one alien dig site. Behemoth, Ruins, Unearthed, and Collision are the names of the much-anticipated maps.
On the other hand, Call of Duty's rival game, Battlefield 4, has not enjoyed the best PR as of late. In recent days, many people have expressed their displeasure with the game's heavy advertising. Considering the fact that it costs more than $100 for premium subscriptions, the complaints make plenty of sense and it will be interesting see what the game creators do about this.
